There is a reason that it is said that the tone produced by a Marshall amp is legendary. Dubbed as “the sound of rock” for the last 40+ years, Marshall celebrated its 40th year of tonal heritage in 2002 with a limited-edition handwired reissue of the Bluesbreaker covered in stunning cream leather by the car manufacturer Jaguar. No. 14 of the total 40 amps with gold plated chassis, control panel, logo, footswitch and screws is available for $8500, along with the original owner’s manual complete with a certificate signed by Jim Marshall, Bob Dover and all the people who were involved in each stage of the manufacturing.
