After this point, the cigar really ramps up into meaty, hearty flavors, quickly developing into a full bodied cigar that grabs you by the palate and shakes your head around. Luckily, this cigar was smoked after lunch, otherwise the effects would have likely been magnified and any hopes of being productive afterward would have been negated due to the strong body.

Typically, when I think about a Camacho cigar, I envision Las Vegas, cards being shuffled, bourbon whiskey being sipped, and a full-flavored Camacho cigar being leisurely puffed! The NEW Room101 LTD Conjura Edition

Introducing the NEW Room101 LTD Conjura Edition. The Conjura Edition, meaning Conspiracy in Spanish, is the first installment in the new Room101 Limitado series. This cigar is more full bodied than the previous Room101 released at last year’s trade show in New Orleans. A beautiful ‘Rosado’ wrapper adorns the outside of this new box-pressed masterpiece by Los Angeles based jewelry designer, Matt Booth. The cedary, yet savory flavors of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers are complemented by the underlying spice of a Honduran binder.

Only 12,500 cigars of each size were made. Once they’ve sold out, they’re gone for good.

The Room 101 cigars is a joint effort from the Owner and designer of Room 101 Silver – Matt Booth – and Camacho Cigars. two great concepts joining forces to create something extraordinary.

The 101 robusto “305″ is an easy cigar to approach. It is a beautiful concept combining a great looking cigar with two beautiful bands. The wrapper is silky and smooth with a dark brown gloss. A few veins do not bother too much and the cigar feels good in hand. The burn is occasionally a little of and the draw might be a little too loose, but nothing of any signifigance.

This medium bodied cigar starts a little dry as herbs, gras and leather take the lead. Half way through it opens up to reveal some heavy chocolate and espresso. In the generous amount of smoke you can really get a good taste of the whole flavor profile of the blend.

A Luscious Smoke.

I was sitting in Cigars Cigars for my friend’s bachelor party and this one cigar caught my attention. I am a sucker for cool labels and Room 101 just had that spark. It is a relatively new brand and my curiosity got the best of me…

Just looking at this cigar will tell you smoking it will be a treat! The cigar had a great little oily wrapper with a spongy texture just ready for smoking. It is a Semilla Honduras wrapper, and the only way I can describe it is to say a maduro and a connecticut had a little too much fun one night and made this little mistake. It is sweet and oily with the slight earthy notes of a maduro. It had a fast draw and great wrapper construction. It was definitely a medium bodied cigar with sweet chocolate notes and a rich, very thick smoke. It was a good smoke and the branding was interesting. Room 101 is inspired by Japanese art and the tattoo culture. It is just an interesting story and brand persona, and I am a believer in brand importance just as much as the actual quality. The Room 101 had a nice mellow finish and I enjoyed it to the very nub. It wasn’t overly complex or interesting but it was still a high quality smoke. I will pick up a few more of these and maybe will post a little more on the brand story as well. Overall I give this cigar a solid 8 of 10.
